Should children should be taught to be independent when they are very young?

I agree with the statement that children should be taught to be independent at a young age. 

Firstly, teaching children independence from a young age helps them develop crucial life skills. For example, a child who is given the responsibility of packing their own backpack for school will learn organizational skills and the importance of being prepared. 

Secondly, fostering independence in children can lead to better academic and social outcomes. When children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and responsibilities, they become more engaged and motivated. This can translate into improved academic performance and a greater sense of belonging within their peer group.
