I believe we should be polite to robots. Politeness creates a positive environment and sets a good example for human interactions. For instance, if children see adults being rude to robots, they might mimic that behavior towards people. Politeness towards robots can promote overall kindness.

I disagree with Clair. While politeness is important, robots are not sentient and do not have feelings. Treating them like humans can blur the lines between humans and machines. For example, if we overly personify robots, it could lead to unrealistic expectations about their capabilities and roles in society.
