I prefer shopping at a store that is close and convenient to me, even if it might be a bit more expensive.
The first reason is that it saves me a lot of time. For example, if I need to buy some groceries, it's faster for me to walk to the closest store down the street than it is to drive to a cheaper store that is farther away. Another reason is that I'm able to check the spending quality time with my family by saving money from those trips. What's more, if there is any problem with the items I bought, it is much more convenient for me to return or exchange them at a nearby store.
