Should people only engage in activities or hobbies at which they are good or talented?

I disagree with the statement that people should only engage in activities or hobbies at which they are good or talented. 

Firstly, trying new activities, even if you're not initially good at them, can lead to personal growth and the discovery of hidden talents. For example, a person who has never played a musical instrument before might discover a passion for music and with practice, become quite skilled. 

Secondly, participating in a variety of activities can enhance one's well-being and quality of life. For instance, someone might enjoy painting as a way to unwind, even if they don't aspire to be a professional artist. And this might help them expand their social circle as well.
