I agree that schools should require students to attend cultural events. Engaging with culture, such as visiting an art museum or attending a theatrical performance, can enrich a student's educational experience. For example, a student studying art history would benefit greatly from seeing original works of art in person, as this would provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of the artist's techniques and historical context, Similarly, a student studying literature could gain a greater insight into a play by Shakespeare by watching it performed live on stage, enhancing their understanding of the characters, themes ,and language used.
