Should parents discourage children from pursuing competitive and less likely successful careers in sports or entertainment?

I actually disagree with the statement. 

Firstly, children should be encouraged to explore their passions and interests. It is important for children to find joy and fulfillment in their pursuits, and imposing limitations based on societal standards of success can stifle their creativity and sense of self. 

Secondly, success is subjective and can be found in various forms. While some careers may have higher financial rewards or societal recognition, they may not bring personal satisfaction or fulfillment. On the other hand, a career in sports or the entertainment industry may not be as financially stable, but it can offer a sense of purpose, fulfillment, and a chance to make a positive impact on others.
