Should professor not allow students to record class lectures?

Personally speaking, I think the professor shouldn't allow students to record his/her class.

First, it will invade the professor's privacy. Every class contains the effort of the professors, which means that each class should be respected. It reminds me of my professor, William. He is a generous person who likes sharing. After he showed his lectures on the Internet, thousands of copycats imitated his style, even his hair. Second, students who want to record the class usually take the lecture, which is recorded for granted because they know they can watch the video anytime, anywhere.
