Do you prefer for face-to-face or phone interview for a nearby company job？

I would prefer a face-to-face interview. 

Firstly, being in the same room as the interviewer allows for better communication. I can use body language and facial expressions to convey my enthusiasm and seriousness about the position. For example, a firm handshake and direct eye contact can make a strong first impression. 

Secondly, a face-to-face interview provides an opportunity to showcase my qualifications through visual aids, such as a portfolio or samples of my work. This can be more persuasive than explaining them over the phone. Additionally, I can get a better sense of the company culture and whether it is a good fit for me by observing the office environment and interacting with potential colleagues.
