Should the scholarship be awarded to students with high academic performance or those in need of financial aid?

I believe that the scholarship should be awarded to students with high academic performance. 

Firstly, rewarding these students, the university can encourage and motivate them to continue their outstanding academic performance. This, in turn, can have a positive impact on the overall academic atmosphere of the university, as it sets a high standard for other students to strive towards. 

Secondly, I would suggest that students who are in need of financial assistance should consider applying for student loans rather than scholarships. While I understand that financial aid is crucial for many students, I believe that the primary purpose of a university should be to provide an environment that motivates and rewards academic excellence.
