2 .Five or six years ago, I was helping a friend of mine decide on a house to buy.

3 .He had been in the market to buy a house, and he had it narrowed down to this one house that he was interested in.

1 .What he really liked about this house was...

2 .it had an excellent location.

就是它极佳的地理位置。

3 .It was in a great place

这座房子和他工作的地方

4 .that was actually in the same part of town where he was working-

5 .right up the street from his job

就在他公司上面一条街。

6 .-so he wouldn't have far to drive to get to work,

这样他就不用开很久的车去上班了,

7 .which he really liked.

8 .However, the downside of this house was that it was smaller than what he was hoping to buy.

9 .He had wanted to buy sort of a big house, and

10 .this house just wasn't that big.

1 .So, it was a tough decision,

2 .but my friend eventually did decide to buy the house.

3 .And a few years after he made the purchase, I remember, we were talking about the decision and why he decided to buy the house.

4 .He told me, well, of course, it was because of the house's location.

5 .He told me how happy he was with the fact that it was so close to his work...
