2 .S: This is the university food services' office, right?

3 .E: Yes. You're here to sign up for a meal plan, I'm guessing?

4 .S: No, actually already have one. I'm actually a member of the multicultural students club. We're organizing an event next month and we like to have catered food.

5 .E: Oh, okay. You're in the right place, but our catering coordinator is on vacation this week. I usually only deal with student dining contracts.

6 .S: Oh, no, I was really hoping to get all the catering details taken care of right away. We're kind of running out of time. It's scheduled for Friday, the 12th.

We were awarded a grant by the student activities' committee, so we're doing as much as we can.

13 .E: Yeah, that's plenty big enough. You know, last year, the student art club spent a lot of time and money planning a grand opening celebration for the renovated campus art gallery. But they didn't realize there was already a popular sports event scheduled at the same time. So almost no one came to the gallery's grand opening.

First, a club advisor or a professor who can endorse you, it's university policy. I'll ask the catering coordinator to email you next week about the food you want to order and the price.
