1 .<-FEMALE STUDENT:-> Just now? I got mine back a few days ago.

1 .<-MALE STUDENT:-> Yeah. Everyone else in the class that I know of got theirs a few days ago too.

1 .<-FEMALE STUDENT:-> [worried tone] But the deadline-you're running out of time.
可是现在截稿日期怎么办？你时间不够了呀。

1 .<-MALE STUDENT:-> Yeah. I'm worried.

2 .I only have one day to review all his comments and write my final draft.

1 .<-FEMALE STUDENT:-> You should definitely ask Professor Stone for a deadline extension.

2 .He should take some responsibility for the situation. It is sort of his fault you won't have much time to work on it before the due date.
出现这种情况他也有责任。你在交稿日期前没有足够时间完成论文一部分也是因为他啊。

1 .<-MALE STUDENT:-> I've thought about that. But...

2 .would he think I was being pushy, or criticizing him for not getting the paper back to me right away?

1 .<-FEMALE STUDENT:-> You know, you could always just do your best with the time you have left.

2 .You're a good student;
你这么优秀，
3 .I bet you can finish it quickly-work really fast-and it'll still turn out good.
我打赌你可以快速把它完成，用很快的速度把论文写完，而且最后结果肯定也不错。

2 .Well, if I worked really hard, I imagine I might do OK. But
