Privacy has been a tough issue for celebrities and their agents with the rapid revolution of information technology. While many claims that more privacy of famous entertainers and athletes should be exposed to the public to guarantee social justice, I maintain the belief that, on the contrary, their privacy deserves better protection.

Like ordinary people, super stars have the authority to enjoy their time with family and friends as well. It is neither polite nor fair to take a glimpse of their private life causally. For example, if the media emphasized too much on the private life of Lebron James and his son, who is also a basketball player, it would generate inequality in the entire NBA, since the value of an athlete is supposed to be evaluated by only their performance on the court.

Additionally, it is not uncommon ordinary people in this day and age, especially groupies, to show exceeded curiosity for the private life of entertainers. However, they do not have full access to the life of celebrities, and tend to criticize them freely of their pecadillo on the Internet. These irrational comments on the Internet may put giant stress on these superstars, which may lead to severe mental diseases and even wreak a havoc on their life security.

Most importantly, only when entertainers and athletes have the freedom to manage their life routines properly can they perform better in public occasions, such as concerts and the arena. Having themselves totally relaxed in their private time can obviously boot their energy and cultivate their creativity. Jay Chou, a famous singer and song writer in Taiwan, gained the inspiration of his latest album during his vacation in Paris.

To sum up, the privacy of celebrities must be better preserved in terms of legitimacy and life philosophy. Only by doing so can they prevent themselves from mental diseases and o
