Weather Modification

Certain weather conditions can interrupt people's activities and make it difficult for them to accomplish important tasks. Generally, humans have little, if any, control over the weather, but in some cases weather modification is possible. In such cases, scientists are able to use technology to modify, or change, certain aspects of the weather. Generally, these changes are temporary, and can only occur in a relatively small area. Despite these limitations, weather modification may provide people with a short window of time within a specific area in which they can accomplish important tasks without interference from undesirable weather.
