Should universities invite speakers with controversial opinions or only those with widely accepted views?

I firmly believe that the university should feature a variety of speakers regardless of their opinions.

Universities are meant to be hubs of diverse ideas and perspectives, where students can expand their outlooks and challenge their own beliefs. By inviting speakers with controversial opinions, we encourage critical thinking and open dialogue, fostering an environment where students learn to engage with and understand different viewpoints. It's through exposure to a wide range of ideas that students can truly develop their own informed opinions and become well-rounded individuals. Censoring or limiting the range of speakers would hinder this intellectual growth and undermine the purpose of higher education.
