Personally, I agree with the statement that newspapers are a better source of information about current events than television. First, reading newspapers is more convenient because you can do it anywhere. For example, you can catch up on the news in the subway or at a café, where watching TV might not be possible. Second, when reading a newspaper, you can highlight passages or take notes, especially on points you find particularly interesting or difficult to understand. You can even search for additional information while reading the news. However, with TV, news is broadcast in a continuous stream, leaving you no time to reflect on or analyze the information carefully.
