Upcycling

Many companies that manufacture products are adopting more environmentally friendly business practices. One such business practice is upcycling. Upcycling is an approach that involves using materials that would normally be thrown away-single-use or disposable items-and transforming them into new products of higher value than the original items. Since these new, higher-value products are made from waste materials, the business can reduce their manufacturing costs and make a large profit. Also, upcycled products tend to have a special, unique appeal to consumers.
