Baxter Dormitory to Become First-Year Housing

Beginning next year, second-, third-, and fourth-year students will no longer be housed in Baxter Dormitory. The dorm will be reserved for first-year students only. University President Mary Williams is excited about the change."We think it'll greatly benefit first-year students. Living together in Baxter will make their adjustment to their first year of university life easier, as they will be able to share common experiences." Since the dormitory will house only first-year students next year, returning students currently living in Baxter will be housed in one of the newer dormitories on campus next year.
