Which do you think is better for the employers to do: treat their employees strictly and supervise their work regularly or set them free and check on progress occasionally? Please give your opinion and explanation using specific examples and details.

  • Personally, I think employees should be given more freedom and flexibility.


    To begin with, they tend to be more creative and innovative when they enjoy a lot of flexibility at work. Thus they can come up with new ideas, designs, and more effective business solutions for their customers and clients. As we can see, if workers enjoy some flexibilities , like flexible working hours, play music at work, or enjoy other sorts of freedom, they will be more productive.


    Additionally, a relaxing working environment could release their pressure. Most workers are under too much pressure nowadays, they have to work overtime frequently, and they have endless meetings, so if they could have a relaxing working environment, they might be more willing to work such long hours.
